Fat Media host Made in Malawi website
One of our website developers, Anthony Halliday, recently got involved helping independent charity ‘Made in Malawi’ develop a new website, in order to show off some of the great work that they have done.
Founded in 2011, the charity aims to help communities living in the Chipoka Village and surrounding areas in Southern Malawi. Their aim is to provide funding, advice, learning materials and infrastructure that will allow children and adults to receive a quality education and learn necessary life skills in a safe and friendly environment.
One of Made in Malawi’s projects is to build a new Nursery and Day Care centre that will be based in Chipoka Village. The current facilities are in a state of disrepair, with children being taught in unsafe and insanitary conditions, whilst teachers go unpaid without vital learning resources. They are aiming to build new facilities that will massively improve the learning environment and make life better for students and teachers alike, as well as give orphans and disadvantaged families’ access to free preschool education.
Fat Media is proud to be a friend of Made in Malawi and aid them with their mission of helping the community in Chipoka Village and continue to develop and host their website.
