Digital Content Executive
We are looking for a talented, effective and charismatic Digital Content Executive to work with us at Fat Media Ltd in Bristol. You will have excellent writing abilities, and a good knowledge of key social media platforms, as well as some knowledge and experience with other digital communications activity such as PR or blogger engagement. You will use your expertise in the industry to deliver an outstanding service to our clients.
Executing much of the communications work, the Digital Content Executive role covers a broad range of key functions such as content writing, social media management, supporting the creative development process, digital PR, and influencer outreach.
On occasion the Digital Content Executive may also support other teams by performing research or other administrative tasks.
What will you be doing?
Writing copy for digital communications such as social media posts, blog posts, press releases and website content
Social media profile management tasks such as post scheduling, response to comments and posts, and audience growth
Media and blogger target list creation
Conducting outreach to journalists, bloggers and other influencers where appropriate and with close guidance from a Manager
Providing creative input for campaign and content plans where required
Undertaking research tasks such as social media audits, competitor analysis, audience research and influencer research
Providing information and data for monthly and quarterly client reports, as well as end-of-campaign reports
Liaising directly with clients where required to coordinate digital communications activity
Required Skills and Experience…
Must be a confident and qualified copywriter, with an impeccable attention to detail
Be a creative and analytical thinker
Be able to develop knowledge of specialist subjects quickly and adapt to suit a variety of topics, interests and sectors
Have a solid, up-to-date understanding of social media platforms, related audiences and how each platform can be used effectively by businesses and organisations.
Have a basic understanding of how social media, content marketing and digital PR integrates with and supports a marketing strategy
Work collaboratively with other teams and individuals to develop effective solutions
Be comfortable in developing and maintaining relationships with fellow team members and clients
Produce clear and concise documents
Have knowledge of digital measurement and metrics
Be up-to-date with current trends and best practices in digital marketing
Be proficient in use of MS Office software and comfortable using web applications
