Fat Media clients support football marathon
Fat Media’s star striker helped fundraisers reach a massive cash goal in the battle to tackle Africa’s HIV crisis.
Creative director, Dom Williams (pictured top right), would like to thank Fat Media clients who sponsored him in the recent London 12 Hour Football Marathon, a unique annual fundraising competition organised by the TackleAfrica charity.
Proceeds soared over the £110,000 bar and donations are still coming in – all of which will go towards the organisation’s projects in six African countries.
Using football coaching schemes combined with health education sessions, TackleAfrica helps about 20,000 of the most vulnerable young people on the continent each year.
Dom’s team, Inter Useless Coalition raised over £2,000 and, from a total of 60 teams, finished a very creditable eighth.
As ever, the competition featured some inspired names including Bayer Adrink, AC A Little Silhouetto of Milan, Unathletico Madrid and Sporting Abeergut
