NSG Group Gets Fat for International Project
Fat Media has provided an international email marketing solution for Pilkington Building Products, part of global glass giant NSG Group, to be used initially in 16 countries. The Lancaster-based email and web marketing specialist was commissioned to provide a solution that could handle campaign and template creation, advanced reporting and image management. The worldwide glass manufacturer had previously used an internally built solution.
Faye Addicott, Digital Communications Manager for the Building Products Europe division of the NSG Group, said that she was pleased with the solution,
“We had previously used an in-house built solution to create and broadcast our email campaigns. The new solution from Fat Media will definitely make a positive difference; it is flexible, easy to use and provides all the reporting we need to ensure the success of our campaigns. They are great to deal with and have done a fantastic job.”
A key attraction of Fat Media’s solution was its ability to provide a system able to cope with a variety of character sets. Richard Metcalfe, Fat Media’s Digital Marketing Consultant, explains,
“Pilkington Building Products’ main markets are dispersed across 16 European countries and therefore needed a system able to cope with the different languages used. The solution we provided will make it very quick and simple for all countries to create and broadcast an email campaign.”
We are expanding this summer and moving to larger offices in Lancaster as we continue to grow the business and develop our already strong team.
