We’re giving our digital advertising team a well-deserved pat on the back this week, as we have been named finalists in the UK Search Awards 2016.
Shortlisted in the ‘Best Use of Search in the Third Sector’ category, the project we have received recognition for is our paid media campaign for GambleAware.
This campaign used a combination of Google and Bing search adverts, along with paid social media posts, to encourage those who take part in gambling to be aware of their habit, and to recognise if they may be overspending.
A sensitive subject, our team created ads that would resonate with the target audience, without a scare factor. It was also vital to instil trust in the GambleAware brand, and the advice on offer. No mean feat in 140 characters!
Our Digital Advertising team’s careful planning, copywriting and image selection proved a great success, and on average the adverts achieved a cost-per-click of just eighteen pence.
Iain Corby, Director of Operations and Development at GambleAware, commented…
“The Digital Advertising team at Fat Media did a highly professional and intuitive job from start to finish, and are a pleasure to work with. They took the time to understand what we wanted to achieve, developed detailed analysis which was then evolved based on the data emerging throughout our campaign, and, by them continuously optimising the mix of channels, formats and styles, the results far surpassed our expectations – so much so that we have already set a higher budget for our next campaign.”
Having been recently named Google Premier Partners, it’s great to receive further recognition for our paid search service. We face stiff competition in the Third Sector category – congratulations to all other finalists, we’re looking forward to seeing you at the ceremony next month!
