Successful Launch of The Mill at Ulverston
Fat Media’s social media campaign played a key marketing role in the recent successful launch of The Mill at Ulverston.
The company, C2 Original Inns, which also owns the multi-award winning Sun Hotel and Bar in Lancaster, asked the search marketing team at Fat Media to devise and deliver a digital marketing campaign for the outlet, which had undergone major refurbishment.
In the weeks prior to the opening, the campaign pushed thousands of visitors to the new website and many joined social media groups centred on the Mill’s new brand.
The online groups were given exclusive access via Facebook and blogs to images and information about the refurbishment as it progressed. The blogging also advertised job vacancies, prompted Christmas party bookings and showcased the VIP list for the opening night.

The online work for The Mill at Ulverston was one of a variety of projects undertaken for C2 by Fat Media.
The team recently helped the incredibly successful Lancaster Brewery to develop a fresh new online image, created a new website for The Palatine in Morecambe and are in the process of undertaking a refresh of the Sun Hotel and Bar website.
