Top Industry Rating for Fat Media

Here at Fat Media we are delighted to have achieved 20th place in the Prolific North’s Top 50 Digital Agencies 2014. The poll also listed ourselves as the only agency with a presence in Lancashire and Cumbria to make the final 50.

Prolific North, who released the list earlier this month, are a respected publisher of news, informed opinions and features from companies working within the creative and media industry in the north of England. The Top 50 Digital Agencies list was compiled primarily from information at Companies House alongside supplementary facts provided by each of the 140 agencies involved in the overall research. The list offers a definitive guide to agencies in the north that are really making waves with projects for key national and international clients.

2013 was an incredibly successful year as we continued to establish ourselves as a leading national and international digital agency. Up against the best agencies London has to offer, alongside being appointed lead digital agency for Warburtons; we delivered a website for Glaxo SmithKline; and won pan-European work with Mitsubishi Pharmaceuticals.

In the North West, the company started working with The Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and around the North West, began working with iconic names such as St Helen’s Rugby League, Blackpool Winter Gardens and Lakeland.

When it came to the quality test at the Big Chip Awards, we walked away with the ‘Tastiest Website Award’ beating a host of competitors to take the trophy for the best website built by a Northern agency.
