Fat Media’s long-standing client YOTEL are celebrating after having won not one, but two prestigious Travolution awards.
Along with the Supplier Award for ‘Best for Staying’, they were also recognised in the Marketing Awards, picking up the title of ‘Best Website User Experience’.
User Experience is something we at Fat Media have worked on very closely with YOTEL, particularly through the booking process, in order to maximise their direct sales. Elements such as a sticky header give a clear, concise booking summary once users have entered the sales funnel, to make it easy for users to book their ideal room.
Other user-experience developments include a calendar view, an interactive map and the option to view the site in multiple language and currencies.
YOTEL have a big focus on customer feedback – you can’t help but notice the little ‘rate this page’ appeals in the corner – but this data is key to their continued success. By taking opinions on board and using them to inform future developments, YOTEL prove their ‘guests first, revenue second’ approach is more than just words.
