Innovative branding and web design work by Fat Media’s creative team is again to be featured on national television.

Fat Media has been working with Channel 5’s hit show ‘The Hotel Inspector’ to help the owner of a unique venue in Sligo, Ireland, reinvigorate his brand and bring in more group visits.

“Gyreum” is a distinctive, circular eco-lodge, built 12 years ago by charismatic Dubliner, Colum Stapleton. It has been described as “somewhere between a lodge, a hostel and a bed and breakfast - difficult to categorise but certainly a brilliant place to experience”.

Fat Media previously worked with ‘Hotel Inspector’, led by presenter Alex Polizzi, in 2015, helping to turn round the fortunes of “La Casa”, a boutique hotel and restaurant in Torrox, Spain and our team was delighted to get involved again this time.

Fat Media’s senior designer, Darren Dedrie, created a stunningly innovative concept utilising the colours and textures of the Sligo geology and fauna, with a logo font and brand design hand-crafted on a physical template hewn from recycled linoleum.

The concept has been carried forward onto a new website design – a hint of which can be seen by visiting www.gyreum.com, with the full new site under construction by Fat Media’s development team for go-live later in the summer.

Gyreum featured on Hotel Inspector on Channel 5 on Wednesday, June 29th 2016, and is now available watch any time on the ‘My 5' online channel.
