Fat Media client, Hesket Newmarket Brewery, revealed its new branding and bottle label design at the launch of its latest craft beer range at the Rheged Centre Penrith on Saturday 12th November. Named after the magnificent local fell, Blencathra, in the north of the Lake District, it consists of Smoked Porter, Columbus Pale Ale, West Coast Red and Double IPA – each lovingly created by Brewer, Nathan Gregory.
The launch tied in with the showing of the acclaimed film ‘Life of a mountain: Bencathra’ by award winning outdoors filmmaker Terry Abraham, with the Rheged Centre providing the ideal venue for launching the brewery’s latest special beers.
Attending the launch were (from left to right) David Adams, Head of Brand Consultancy at Fat Media, Sir Chris Bonington, famous mountaineer and supporter of Hesket Brewery and Mike Sheehan, Brewery Sales Manager. David comments “It’s great to see the new branding and bottle label design revealed and combining this with the launch of the brewery’s craft beer range couldn’t be more fitting. On the back of all the positive feedback we and the brewery have received in terms of the new design, we’re now going to be progressing with the roll out of new labels for the brewery’s remaining 11 beers as well as a new website and associated materials.”
Many other people connected with the area as well as supporters of the brewery and real ale devotees were in attendance throughout the day.
