Fat Media have worked with Lancaster University on several student recruitment campaigns. Having recently rebranded, our first task was to redesign their Undergraduate Prospectus, to bring the new brand identity to life. By using infographics, we made sure all key information was easy to find and understand, while the premium paper stock reflected the top 10 status of the university.
We went on to create open day signage, brochures and promotional clothing, as well as postgraduate and international prospectuses. A number of design projects have been completed at departmental level, all of which embody the overall university brand.
What We Delivered
We have introduced a secondary colour palette, as well as unique brand identities for open days – to signal to staff and students that the campus is on show.
Our new design won the prestigious Heist Award for ‘Best Undergraduate Prospectus’ – great recognition for the research put in by ourselves and the university’s marketing team.
Wayfinding & signage design
A team of Fatties walked the campus with GPS trackers to identify places likely to be hard to find, to identify where open day signage was most necessary.
